We value the importance of biblical eldership - a team of men who seek to father the local church by serving it with humility. We believe that the elders have a God-given spiritual responsibility for Gateway.

The elders, along with a wider team of leaders and deacons, serve and lead Gateway Church.

We employ a number of people to serve Gateway Church and its wider vision in the town.

This is in addition to a huge number of volunteers who serve Gateway Church and across Swindon in different ways.

Gateway Church Swindon is a registered charity and a company limited by guarantee. The directors of the charitable company are its trustees for the purpose of the Charities Act 1993. The company is governed by the memorandum and articles of association.

The Board of Trustees currently comprises six members, with two trustees representing the leadership team, and four trustees voluntary members. New trustees are selected from the church community. They are well known to the existing Board of Trustees and have demonstrated a high level of dedication and commitment towards the aims of Gateway.
