Small Groups… Get Connected
Sundays are great, but church isn’t just about Sundays. Downing a cup of tea, eating a biscuit and saying a brief hello to your friends after a Sunday meeting is hardly what anyone would call ‘being connected’.
At Gateway, we believe that church should always be a place where we not only attend, but also belong. It should be a place where we can form authentic relationships within which we can celebrate, encourage, support and provoke one another to live life the way God intended.
And so we encourage everyone to get connected into a Small Group – groups of about 8-15 people who get together on a regular basis in one another’s homes. Together we share times of worship, prayer and life-application Bible study, as well as friendship and laughter. We share in each others lives, our joys and sorrows, and support one another through thick and thin.
Small Groups are also a great place to get connected and be involved. It’s here that we can start to form the friendships we need to spur us on to love God and love people more. In fact, we’re convinced that joining a regular small group is the best way to become part of church life. If you’re not part of a group yet, find out more by asking one of the Welcome Team on Sunday or by emailing us using the form on the right of this page.
