Join with us over 40 Days to pray, fast & worship God at Gateway Church.

As Elders we realise we are at a vitally important time in taking hold of the promises we believe God has called us to. Therefore we are very excited at the opportunity to give ourselves as a church to encounter God through powerful times of worship and prayer.

We’ve put together some notes around our 40 days to help you.

What will 40 days look like?

  • Forty Days Handbook: We’ve created a handbook to accompany the forty days. They contain daily Bible readings, reflections and prayer pointers. Along with space to record what God does in your life over the Forty Days, along with prophetic words you receive and are given etc. You can download additional copies of the 40 Days booklet.
  • Midweek meetings: Once a week on alternate Wednesdays and Thursdays we will meet together as a church body to worship and pray. We would like to encourage you to fast on the day of these midweek celebrations each week and to also think through how else you might fast over the Forty Days. (See Guidelines on Fasting above for ideas and tips)
  • Sunday teaching: Through the 40 days we will be working through the book of Acts, teaching Christian foundations.
  • Guest speakers: We are pleased to announce that we have arranged several guests speakers to join us during the 40 days, either on a Sunday or a midweek meeting – Julian Adams, Adrian Holloway, Angela Kemm
  • Morning Prayer: The Trinity Centre will be open for prayer on Tuesday, Thursday and Friday mornings. See the calendar for times.
  • Blog: There will be daily blog posts on the website with prayer pointers.
