Our Vision – Gather, Grow, Go

Gather:

We live with the vision to be a church of at least a 1000 people, so we expect to have a constant flow of people becoming followers of Jesus Christ, being baptised in water, filled with the Holy Spirit and added in to God’s family. We believe God’s message of salvation is for all people, and so we are committed to welcoming anyone whatever their background or culture.

We thank God for the Trinity Centre that facilitates our vision to gather in the day time, evenings and at weekends. It provides an office base for our staff as well a space to gather and help equip every member to reach their full God-given potential. Increasingly the centre is also becoming a gathering place for the community. Most importantly we want it to be a friendly, accessible place for those who don’t yet know Jesus Christ.

Grow:

Our vision also includes every member growing in Christian maturity and in relationship to Jesus Christ. We are committed to caring for one another and this includes actively supporting a growing network of small community groups spread across the Swindon area.

We believe that the good news of God’s reign and rule should have a transforming affect on our town, our nation, and the nations beyond. Therefore we carry a vision to be people who are prepared, equipped and mobilised to be a resource which serves the community of Swindon and beyond through a variety of projects and initiatives.

Go:

At the heart of our vision is the command from God to go to those who have not yet heard the good news about Jesus Christ. They may be our next door neighbours or on the other side of the world; either way they are precious to God. We’re committed to supporting and sending people to wherever God may direct them.
