Alpha is an opportunity to explore the meaning of life in an atmosphere which is relaxed, non-threatening, low key, friendly and fun.

When and where does Alpha take place?

The course is run every January, May & September at Gateway Church Swindon.

The next Course begins on Monday 14 May 2012, from 7.30pm until 9.30pm and continues for the following 9 weeks.

Alpha starts with an introduction to the Alpha Course where there is a 2 course meal, live music and an introductory talk – ‘Christianity: Boring, untrue & irrelevant?’.

There is no pressure to sign up for the course after attending this evening.

What’s Included?

Each week starts with drinks and delicious puddings at beginning of each session, followed by a short and engaging talk. Participants then break into lively small group discussions. In the groups no question is too simple or too hostile to ask!

The Alpha course consists of 10 sessions looking at topics such as ‘Who is Jesus?’, ‘Why and how do I pray?’, ‘Why and How do I read the Bible?’

Who is Alpha for?

Alpha is for anyone who wants to investigate Christianity, and also for new Christians and newcomers to the church.

What does it cost?

We do not charge for Alpha Course.
