Alpha is an opportunity to explore the meaning of life in an atmosphere which is relaxed, non-threatening, low key, friendly and fun. We run Alpha every January, May & September.

The next Course will run in  September 2012.

The first evening of Alpha is a simple introduction to the course. During a 2 course meal, you will hear an introductory talk - ‘Christianity: Boring, untrue & irrelevant?’, as well as enjoy some live music. There is no pressure to sign up for the course after attending this evening.

A typical Alpha evening

Each week starts with drinks and delicious puddings, followed by a short and engaging talk. Participants then break into lively small group discussions. In the groups no question is too simple or too hostile to ask!

The Alpha course consists of 10 sessions looking at topics such as ‘Who is Jesus?’, ‘Why and how do I pray?’, ‘Why and How do I read the Bible?’

Who is Alpha for?

Alpha is for anyone who wants to investigate Christianity, and also for new Christians and newcomers to the church.
